ok so i want to go lower from the front end but wanted to know if there are any after market shortend forks, its embarasing to say but i have a ****** rigged suspension set up. TECHNACLY i have no spring in the front and some ebay coil overs in the rear. my ride height is currently at 20" inches from the ground to the top of my fender, and 21" on the rear. i mean the rear is a piece of cake to lower. but i at least want to be at 19" inches in the front . and 19 in the rear.. how do i lower the front 1 more inch confuse

thanks in advance, rich

19" is gonna be body on floor.. right now my fenders are 19.5 front and the jacking point is ground down and 1" from floor and trans/oil pan 1" from ground. no spring in front must be a really bad ride. i know some people go as far as shaving the top of the fork to gain a little more shock travel..even top hats. but if you really wanna get low you are gonna have to cut/raise shock tower to allow uca travel. or cut/shorten your knuckle. now from what ive been told, dont weld the oem cast knuckle as it is brittle and the weld will break. BUT i've seen it done and reinforced.. buuuuut never any feedback cause the car didnt see the road yet. so it can be done just by whom?

ehh, the ride is pretty decent. a low car is going to be bouncy regardless rite ? lol at ill be very happy at 19.5 all around. but i think im going to do what you said with the fork. as in shaving the top down so the strut can sit a bit lower. can i grint it down an inch you think ? so the strut wont hit the axel ?

yeah its gonna be lil bouncy. i dont think you can go as far as an inch but maybe 1/4 of an inch. the bolt hole to tighten fork to shock would be compromised .
