my old sub was a 12" alpine type Harrrd.. box is huge so never ran the spare tire cover. but now i want to cover the spare tire. thinkin i should run a 10". what kind of box design should i go with so i can still use cargo cover.
let me see if I can find out the box design in my friends EF hatch and i'll let you know but I know that area is not very deep *trunk to seat* I would run a wide length narrow debth box so you can keep it close to recommended air space.
the sub in my friends hatch is a 12" so im assuming the same design for a 10 will work.I'll txt him and ask.

Talked to my buddy woody, and his is just a rectangle box. Hits good, but could be better I think his box airspace isn't correct.
any shape box will work as long as it has the correct or close to internal airspace. You can look up box dimensions on google, internal volume is what you're after im sure with a little calculating you can make any type of box design work.
holy hell dude thats hella dbs for sure but i had a guy wana trade me to 18 for my 12 inch kickers but i dont think theres anyway i could fit thoughs in my trunk so i passed them up that and the way my back window is im worried about breakin it ha
hah for sure dude I miss those subs, last year when me and my buddy rolled up to the seattle HT meet we bumped for 6 hours straight turned up to ear shattering volumes lol I loved it! can't wait to get some bump in the trunk again
